This past Sunday was the most fun my boyfriend and I have had together! It wasn’t because we went on a trip or did something every couple tends to do; we actually stayed local and I honestly don’t think we have laughed that much in the year we have spent together. What did we do? We decided (well, really I did) to dedicate an hour of our time with a professional photographer.
IT IS MEANINGFUL
Our schedules don’t always align. Dawson works long days since he is in the sales business, and I am building my own photography business, Kate Lynn Imagery, on nights and weekends while working part time during the week. The time we get to spend together is usually with family or friends. Having "us" time is important, taking these pictures were and will be a reminder to schedule time for us.
THE EXPERIENCE IS FUN
Relationships are work just as much as they are fun when you do things together, like a photoshoot. It was unbelievably refreshing to spend that hour being present with each other. We danced, we hugged, we walked around open fields, and the best part - we laughed so hard when our foreheads touched because Dawson told me “I look like an alien up close”. That will forever be one of our inside jokes!
PROFESSIONAL PRINT QUALITY
Our lives are fleeting and time has a tendency to escape us. Let’s face it, selfies are convenient but aren't typically print quality images. 10 years from now, we will look back at these pictures on our walls and instantly remember those moments. Even when I look at these now I reminisce how I felt that day – happy to be alive and happy to be spending my life with not just anyone, but with him.
EXPRESS WHO YOU ARE
Photo sessions are an expression of how bright you shine, how radiant you are, and are a priceless investment for years to come. I want to extend a special thank you to Robert Burns II Photography for capturing these intimate moments between us. I love being behind the camera just as much as I do being in front of the camera.
